GEOTHERMAL DRILLING
We provide specialist vertical borehole drilling for ground source heat pump systems, supporting domestic, commercial and larger renewable-energy projects. Boreholes can be drilled, geothermal loops installed, grouted from the base of the borehole to surface and pressure tested to provide a professionally completed closed-loop system ready for connection to the wider GSHP installation.
We install closed-loop collectors to depths of 0–300m, grouted to spec with thermally-enhanced grout. Every borehole is logged, tested and documented for MCS-compliant handover.

WATER BOREHOLES
Private water boreholes can provide a reliable, independent water source for homes, farms, estates, golf courses, commercial premises, developments and other high-water-use sites. EcoBore Solutions provides professional water-well drilling and installation tailored to the geology, required yield and intended use of the water.
We handle hydrogeological desk study, drilling, casing, pump selection and Environment Agency documentation. Our standard test pump operates at 70 litres per minute; however, clients are welcome to install a higher-capacity pump should their requirements demand it. Under UK regulations, up to 20,000 litres per day can be legally withdrawn from a water borehole without needing an abstraction licence (standard exemption threshold). Yields tested and quality sampled before handover.

SITE INVESTIGATION
Accurate ground data before you build. Cable percussion, rotary and window sampling with in-situ testing.
Full factual and interpretative reporting to BS 5930. SPTs, undisturbed samples, contamination and gas monitoring installations delivered by qualified engineers.

SOAKAWAYS
Where ground conditions and site requirements are suitable, borehole soakaways provide a method of managing surface water by transferring water into appropriate permeable ground formations below less permeable layers.
Designed to Building Regulations H3 and BRE 365 principles. We drill through impermeable strata to reach free-draining ground beneath — ideal for clay sites.

PILING & FOUNDATIONS
We provide drilling solutions for piling and foundation applications, working alongside contractors and project teams to deliver safe, accurate and efficient drilling for construction projects.
Restricted-access piling rigs for tight sites and existing structures. We work from engineered pile designs or provide our own via our consulting engineer.
